David L. Morgan
David L. Morgan is the retired Executive Director of the
Kentucky Heritage Council State Preservation Office. He has
dedicated his whole life to saving historic buildings, as well
as helping save the stone fences and landscapes along Paris
Pike. He helped create the African-American Heritage Commission,
Native American Heritage Commission and the Military Heritage
and Civil War Preservation Program.
Thanks to David Morgan the history of Kentucky is being
protected. David Morgan is well known with many people around
the country who help protect America’s History. Morgan
believes that if what’s left of history is destroyed, we will
forget how America was settled. Mr. Morgan continues to be a
Washington D.C. Resource for saving The Judge Joseph Holt House
in rural Breckinridge County.
